Unruh, Gerd: - Gerd Unruh Dr. Gerd Unruh studied chemistry, mathematics and science theory and was professor of computer science at the University of Furtwangen, Germany. He taught data base systems, operating systems and software development. Additionally he researched in the area of the development of consciousness using mental techniques. He learned the sciences of Vedanta and Yoga in theory and practice from the renowned teachers Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, Shankaracharya of Southern India. Under the guidance of Heinz Krug, who had researched the Yoga Sutras for several years, he prepared the technology in the Yoga Sutras in a scientific way.
