Guido Walz ist Professor für Angewandte Mathematik und Studienleiter Mathematik an der Wilhelm-Büchner-Hochschule Darmstadt sowie Dozent an der Dualen Hochschule Baden-Württemberg in Mannheim. Er ist Herausgeber des Lexikon der Mathematik und Autor zahlreicher Fachveröffentlichungen und Lehrbücher, u. a. Mathematik für Fachhochschule und duales Studium.

Frank Zeilfelder ist seit 2002 habilitierter Mathematiker. Neben verschiedenen Forschungs-aufenthalten im Ausland war er am MPI für Informatik in Saarbrücken und als Hochschuldozent an der Universität Mannheim, Universität Duisburg-Essen und der TU Darmstadt tätig. Er ist Lehrer für Mathematik und Informationstechnik an der Carl-Benz-Schule in Mannheim und Fachberater für Mathematik am Regierungspräsidium Karlsruhe.

Thomas Rießinger studierte Mathematik an der Universität Mannheim und promovierte dort 1987. Nach Tätigkeiten als wissenschaftlicherMitarbeiter und Systemanalytiker war er von 1992 bis 2010 Professor für Mathematik und Informatik an der Fachhochschule Frankfurt am Main. Er ist Autor mehrerer Lehr- und Sachbücher zur Mathematik und zur Philosophie.
