The fight starts with a curse called cancer. The once upon a time begins a new journey, searching for a magical cure in the lost world of Lyme disease. My husband was diagnosed with Leukemia in January of 2017. After his first chemo treatment, he was admitted to the hospital for a 26-day stay and came home, a shell of himself. His amazing transformation led us down a path filled with gratefulness, fear, frustration, confusion, hard work and a heart wrenching ending.This book walks you down a dusty path, joining the wild west with the mild east! Let's explore together this new frontier of how to mix alternative treatments such as EFFECTIVE supplements with Lisa's new anti-inflammatory diet, along with conventional treatments like medications and surgeries. The Cancer section provides new and helpful information we need to know about today's cancer. It uses two powerful studies of both people around the world over 100 years old who have never had cancer, and one thousand medically documented stage 4 cancer survivors. The Lyme section unveils the mysteries surrounding this complicated full-body disease that mimic hundreds of diseases, including cancer. The twist for my husband came in when he started using alternative treatments, including IV Vitamin C from Lyme literate doctors. His bloodwork revealed he had Lyme and a coinfection called Babesia.
