Ce document vise à présenter le profil du comportement des consommateurs roumains en matière de gaspillage alimentaire, en termes d'impacts pondérés. Il est basé sur des données fournies par l'Institut national de recherche et de développement des bioressources alimentaires-IBA Bucarest, dans le cadre du projet ADER 15.1.1. Impact socio-économique du gaspillage alimentaire dans le contexte de la sécurité alimentaire et de la crise du changement climatique . Le groupe cible était une population urbaine de plus de 18 ans représentative à l'échelle nationale. Les données ont été traitées en fonction des indicateurs suivants: âge, revenu, éducation, nombre de membres de la famille, situation géographique, taille de la ville. Plus de 900 personnes ont répondu, provenant de 153 villes. Le questionnaire visait à obtenir des réponses à l'échelle individuelle et à l'échelle de toute la famille. Bien que la moyenne nationale du percentile urbain du gaspillage alimentaire soit de 10,4 %, il existe une large échelle de valeurs, en fonction du profil individuel et social des personnes interrogées. 1/5 de la population gaspille près de 50% du total des déchets alimentaires. L'étude détaille le comportement des consommateurs, sur la base des indicateurs mentionnés précédemment.
