Her previous publications include Research Practice for Cultural Studies: Ethnographic Methods and Lived Cultures (2003), Studying Culture: An Introductory Reader (co-edited with Jim McGuigan, 1997) and Video Playtime: the Gendering of a Leisure Technology (1992)
