The Celtic peoples of Britain emerged during an era veiled in antiquity, where oak groves, sacred wells, and flowing waters served as sanctuaries for Druidic ceremonies, worship, and ritual sacrifice. Their worldview encompassed a profound understanding that the past perpetually surrounds us, accompanied by a sophisticated and deeply felt sense of the sacred. Their imagination perceived nature and human existence as an integrated whole, refusing to distinguish between the visible and invisible realms, temporal and eternal dimensions, or human and divine spheres. The Celtic veneration of the soul's presence in all creation represents an unparalleled spiritual legacy in Western tradition. This indigenous spirituality underwent a transformation during the initial centuries of the Christian Era, finding expression in the symbolic fusion of the Christian cross encompassed by the Celtic circle of life.

Taylor, Paul Wright: - Paul Wright Taylor was born in England and raised in Wales, that magical land of Saint David and Dylan Thomas, where he was exposed at an early age to Celtic spirituality.Paul attended Western University for his baccalaureate degree in European History and Huron University for his master's degree in Theology, both in London, Ontario. In the mid-1990s he took a sabbatical and returned to Wales to study Celtic spirituality in depth. It was a life-changing experience. It enabled him to lift his spiritual journey beyond church land to a new dimension of awareness, both of creation and of the environment that is entrusted to our care, as well as envision God as the Life Force found in all living things.Celtic Spirituality: A Journey Home is his third novel. His autobiography, Tales of a Landed Immigrant in Short Pants, was published in 2020, followed by a sci-fi work of fiction, Secrets of the Stones, in 2024.
