Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2018 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Schulpädagogik, Note: 1,0, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (philosophische Fakultät), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Bei internationalen Schulleistungsstudien wie TIMSS, PISA und IGLU stellte Deutschland fest, dass das bisherige Konzept der Input-Steuerung des Bildungssystems im Vergleich zu anderen OECD-Ländern nur mä ig erfolgreich abschnitt. Diese Ergebnisse führten zu einem Umdenken, weshalb das Kultusministerium bundesweit geltende Bildungsstandards schaffte, welche 2004 in dem Primarbereich seit Ende 2017 in allen weiterführenden Schulen in Bayern eingeführt wurden. Diese beschreiben Bildungsziele, die zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt in einem konkreten Fach(-bereich) erreicht werden sollen. Hauptmerkmal dieser Bildungsstandards ist die Kompetenzorientierung. Doch so sehr diese Output-Orientierung auch gelobt wird, genauso viel wird sie auch kritisiert. Nachdem bereits einige Jahre seit der Implementierung dieser Standards in den Grundschulen vergangen sind und nun auch in Sekundarschulen die Kompetenzorientierung in den Lehrplan eingegangen ist, stellt sich die Frage, ob die Kritik gerechtfertigt ist und welche Chancen sie tatsächlich bietet. Diesen Fragen soll in der vorliegenden Arbeit auf den Grund gegangen werden. Nichtsdestotrotz soll zu Beginn kurz erläutert werden, was man unter Kompetenzen grundsätzlich versteht, um ein grundlegendes Verständnis in der nachfolgenden Argumentation voraussetzen zu können. Im Anschluss daran sollen Chancen und Probleme von diesem Paradigmenwechsel aufgezeigt werden. Danach werden anhand eines Praxisbeispiels mögliche Schwierigkeiten konkretisiert, die mit der neuen Entwicklung einhergehen.
