Besonderes Augenmerk wird auf die damit verbundenen Chancen und Risiken gelegt. Für viele Unternehmen ist der Börsengang der nächste gro e Schritt, um neue finanzielle Mittel zu erhalten und das Unternehmenswachstum zu steigern. Der Börsengang, auch "Initial Public Offering" (IPO) genannt, ist ein umfangreicher und langwieriger Prozess, der das Management vor komplexe und neue Herausforderungen stellt. Nach dem Rekordjahr 2021, wo weltweit 2681 Unternehmen an die Börse gegangen sind, warten potenzielle Unternehmen auf ein günstigeres Kapitalmarktumfeld. Angesichts der Unsicherheiten auf dem Markt und der Vielzahl an geopolitischen Spannungen, beispielsweise zwischen Taiwan und China, steigender Zinsen sowie beeinträchtigter Lieferketten, verharren IPO-Kandidaten auf "Standby" Betrieb. Deswegen können sich Investoren im Jahr 2023 nicht auf einen IPO-Boom freuen, denn eine schleppende Wirtschaft ist keine gute Voraussetzung für den IPO-Markt. Insbesondere kleinere und mittlere Unternehmen warten auf eine stabilere und positivere Marktstimmung. Aus unternehmerischer Sicht ist der Börsengang für viele Wachstumsunternehmen eine interessante Chance, welche aber auch mit Risiken verbunden ist. Nicht nur für die jeweiligen Unternehmen, sondern auch für potenzielle Investoren, die sich durch die Kapitalbeteiligung eine bestmögliche Rendite versprechen
