Micsa, Carmen: - "Born and raised in Romania, Carmen Micsa moved to America in 1995 and chose to write about her old life in communist Romania and her new life in America. Freedom Rocks is Carmen's first book/memoir that she is also working on publishing. She has published articles in a few local and national publications and a memoir piece Grandpa's Garden in the anthology From Sac Home Myths & Other Untruths together with some of her graduate school classmates. Carmen also writes short fiction, travel articles, and picture books. She is also the owner/author of her blog www.runningforrealestate.com. She earned a BA degree in English and a MA in English (Creative Writing) both from Sacramento State University. Besides writing, Carmen Micsa enjoys being a mother to her two beautiful children Alex and Sophia.
