Changing Hues is a collection of poems written over a period of twenty years. The poems are deeply moving portrayals of the most beautiful human emotion - love. But love comes with associated flavours. The poet has touched upon varied shades of love from longing to wonder, and even anguish. The imagery is vivid and word-craft deft. Each poem paints a picture and is bound to strike a chord deep in the hearts of the readers. If a poetry book can be a page turner, this is the one. But you can also take your time to savour each poem slowly. Go back to them many a time to discover deeper layers of understanding in the tangle of emotions that accompany love. For the romantic in each one of you, come fall in love again!

Bijaya, an alumnus of Lady Shri Ram College, New Delhi, began writing poetry while at school in the United States, and later in her hometown, Bhubaneswar. Much to the chagrin of her high-school English teacher, she decided to pursue Science and went on to graduate in Economics. Changing Hues is her first collection of poems written across two decades as writing took a backseat during the initial years of her career as a Human Resource professional.

She presently works in senior management with Steel Authority of India Limited at Rourkela Steel Plant. Her best friends are her two sons, Piyush, an entrepreneur and Prayas, a PR professional. She loves life and indulges in prolific travel, reading and music. At the core of her being, she is a spiritual seeker. As a faculty with the 'Art of Living', she is deeply committed to the mission of her Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar to transform society by strengthening the individual.
