Christ, Our Savior Songbook Piano Vocal Edition is a 185 page collection of 45 Christian songs for the worship service specifically designed for the church pianist (keyboard player) and/ or vocalist who prefer a written piano score, but I also included the chord symbols with bass note for guitar and bass. This music can easily be used by worship team leaders and members in an onstage band of vocalists, guitar, piano/keyboard, bass and percussion. All the songs in the book are licensed with Christian Copyright International (CCLI) and have royalty numbers assigned to them for reports of usage worldwide in the catalog - The King's Court. The lyrics are available for download and church projection on a screen at ccli.com via Song SelectThe songs are arranged as one continuous story of God's redemptive grace through Christ, and are organized into 14 adjacent medleys for worship leaders. It is hoped that these songs will be used in church services, bible studies, evangelistic concerts, Christian schools & camps, and any function where the Body of Christ gathers for praise to our Lord, Jesus Christ. In reference to the key structure of the songs and the modulations used, I chose keys that the congregation can easily sing, and the average guitarist can play. The bass note is included at the bottom of chord symbols. Instrumental introductions and interludes are marked in the scores and they are to be played on the piano, or by any appropriate available instrument. These short themes may be raised or lowered an octave to accommodate the instrument desired.Optional solos are marked in many of the songs. This is an excellent way to give trained vocalist within the church an opportunity to share the gifts that God has given them. It also gives diversity to the music by allowing time for the church body to reflect on the message of the song.About The Canons - There are several canons (rounds) in this book that can be performed in a variety of ways. Here are some possible suggestions:1) Learn the canon melody well before attempting to incorporate the successive entrances (additional canon parts).2) Use instruments only to play the additional canon parts - this will maintain the beauty of the music, and allow for the lyrics to be heard and understood more clearly.3) After the congregation has learned the song, try having the worship team sing the additional canon parts. 4) Finally, try dividing the congregation and have them sing the additional canon parts if desired. The King's Court offers Christian music that is based on the Bible and scriptural themes. It is financed, managed and run entirely by songwriter and solo artist Will Goldstein from Sebastopol, California who is a multi instrumentalist able to publish and record many of his own parts as well as feature his orchestral arrangements. Songs by Jeanne Brickman and Will Goldstein together are also featured in our catalog. Simply put in my business logo, "Scripture comes to life in the music of The King's Court." At the time of this release The King's Court catalog at Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) currently has 195 songs as of 2017. However, The King's Court still has another 1,000 songs that have been partially written or almost done with hundreds of these songs now being organized into books to be released soon and be added to the CCLI catalog, and for online distribution channels such as my website, CD Baby, iTunes, Amazon Books and Cd's. Twice annually CCLI sends out reports of usage worldwide. In the last few years there has been a great increase of usage and reports in churches worldwide. Praise God for the usage. The current list of countries where the music of The King's Court has received reports of usage includes: US, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Korea, South Africa Currently, The King's Court has 3 cd's released and 6 volumes of books.
