Heuvelink, Ep: - Ep Heuvelink has over 30 years of experience in scientific research and education in greenhouse crops. He is associate professor in the Horticulture and Product Physiology group of Wageningen University & Research. His expertise is greenhouse crop physiology and crop simulation. He supervised over 120 MSc thesis students and is copromotor of 26 PhD students. Ep is frequently invited as a keynote speaker at international symposia and teaches advanced intensive courses on greenhouse production, crop physiology and crop modelling all over the world. He is a teacher in the Wageningen Summerschool on Greenhouse Horticulture and has (co-)authored 100 papers in refereed scientific journals, over 150 papers in professional journals and 6 books.

Sharathkumar, M.: - Sharath is a horticulturist and an active writer and speaker with his imprints strong in floriculture and background education and experience in horticulture. He started his career working at Centre for Urban Greenery and Ecology (CUGE), Singapore and later served in Singapore Botanic Gardens in a diverse range and scale of projects of orchid breeding and cultivation, Turf Science, landscape and gardening, vertical greenery and urban landscaping. His career excellence can be inferred from the fellowships, research grants, scholarships, orchid hybrids (Phalaenopsis SharathKumar, M and Spathoglottis SharathKumar) named after him and the awards he has achieved.Presently Sharath is working at two institutes; Wageningen University and Research, the Netherlands and Max-Planck institute of molecular plant physiology, Potsdam, Germany on a 4-year PhD project dealing with molecular regulation of chrysanthemum flowering influenced by light spectrum, temperature and sugars.
