"Church Girls" is the first volume of "More Than Conquerors" series, a series centering around four women who met in their youth while attending the same church. Introduced to Christ when young, they are learning to walk in their faith through adulthood. As Christians, we oftentimes find ourselves in the midst of perilous times. Like the characters in the novel, we must learn how to trust God and stand on His Word when times get rough. The Church Girls have a common bond that centers on their love for Christ. Many of us are church girls and will be able to identify with one or more of the characters. "Church Girls" is an adventure that captures the ups and downs of four friends. They were rooted and grounded in their Christian walks, but experience various sorrows along the way. This series is written to remind us that even through our issues and pain, God can heal us from them all. Despite the difficulties we may face, God loves us enough to walk with us through each and every storm. In the end, victory is ours!!

DeLisa Shelby Claude is a resident of Indiana and has been a pastor's kid the majority of her life. When DeLisa was young, her family relocated from Indianapolis to Muncie, Indiana in order for her father to pastor a church. They later moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where her father still pastors. Her entire life has been surrounded with meeting and interacting with many pastors and their families. As a young girl, DeLisa enjoyed writing and even participated in a writing contest in elementary school. She always enjoyed writing but never fully recognized her gift. In 1996, a very good friend asked DeLisa to write a recommendation on her behalf. After reading the recommendation, her friend recognized DeLisa's gift and inspired her to pursue a writing career. It was this encouragement that later prompted her to write Church Girls. DeLisa is married to her husband, Eric; and together their family comprises of three daughters, Jada, Chloe', and Jaqkee, and one son, Eric II. DeLisa wrote Church Girls with the inspiration to remind Christians that they are not excluded from troublesome lives, but their relationship with Christ allows them to be able to withstand any trials and tribulations.
