K. V. Rammesh - or KV as he likes to be called by his friends - is working as a Business Manager in a multinational medical-equipment company, and he has over thirty years of experience in the industry. His work has taken him all over India and abroad, resulting in his understanding of various cultures and experiences. Some of these experiences have been distilled in the form of short stories and articles. He has been writing short stories and articles for the past few years, and this is his first compilation of short stories. He is passionate about what he calls the three Ms - Music, Movies, Military History and technology - and these somehow figure in his stories. He reads voraciously on these topics in his spare time and is also interested in real-time strategy computer games that simulate the strategies followed in historical conflicts. His interest in music includes playing the mridangam, singing, conducting musical quiz shows (with some like-minded friends) and listening to a wide variety of music, including classical and pop genres. He is also working on a novel and other stories based on his extensive travel experiences in India and the world. He lives in Mumbai with his wife.
