The author of "Climbing The Palm Tree" has spent years dealing with his own puzzlement over the book and seeks to help others on their journey to understanding the greatest book on love and marriage that has ever been written. The love relationship between a man and a woman, between God and His saints, and between Christ and His church is truly the Song of Songs.

Paul Clark has been the pastor of Walnut Street Missionary Baptist Church in Hillsboro, Texas since November, 2002. He met his wife, Janie, on July 11, 1973 after he moved from Ayer, Massachusetts to Henderson, Texas. They married in December of that year and have been happily married ever since. Pastor Clark graduated from Kilgore College in 1979 with an Associate degree. He and Janie have 3 children and 15 grandchildren. He holds a Doctor's degree in Theology from Texas Baptist Institute where he earned his Bachelors and Masters degree. He has been a pastor for over twenty one years.
