He instructs for the California Board of Corrections in their STC Program, conducts research in communication patterns, nutrition, and stress reactions for CommuniEfect, a nonprofit corporation, and is a part-time instructor in cultural and physical anthropology at Cosumnes River College, Folsom, California, and at Sacramento City College, Sacramento, California. Dr. Rush earned his PhD in anthropology from Columbia Pacific University, and is the author of numerous books and texts including Witchcraft and Sorcery: An Anthropological Perspective of the Occult (1974).
