About the Author

Dr Sharmila Arun Babu , MBBS, MS, MBA, is currently working as Professor and Head, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Mangalagiri, Andhra Pradesh. She completed MBBS and MS (Obstetrics and Gynecology) from the prestigious JIPMER, Puducherry, and is a Gold medalist in MS exam. She also holds an MBA degree in Hospital Management. She is a passionate teacher with more than 12 years of experience in the field. Dr Sharmila is the author of the bestselling title “Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology” published by Wolters Kluwer (I) Pvt. Ltd. She has also contributed chapters in several textbooks and has more than 80 publications in various international and national journals.
