Clinical Reasoning meint einen Denk-, Handlungs- und Entscheidungsprozess, der der Pflegekraft alleine, in Auseinandersetzung mit Berufskollegen oder im interdisziplinären Team dazu dient, das Vorgehen zur Planung und Durchführung der Pflege möglichst optimal gestalten zu können. Mit Professionalisierung der Pflege findet Clinical Reasoning zunehmend Aufnahme in Gesundheits- und Pflegewissenschaften. Der Einführungsvortrag gibt einen ersten Ein- und Überblick zur Thematik "Clinical Reasoning".

Horst Siegfried Kolb; BA, MSc, MA, MHBA wurde 1968 in Kronach (Oberfranken) geboren. Zunächst erlernte er einen Bauberuf und war mehrere Jahre in Ausführung und Planung im Baubereich tätig. Seine ehrenamtliche Tätigkeit im Bayerischen Roten Kreuz führte ihn schließlich in den Gesundheits- und Pflegebereich. Er schloss zunächst eine Ausbildung zum Staatl. anerk. Altenpfleger ab und war im Anschluss daran in Einrichtungen der stationären und ambulanten Altenpflege tätig. Berufsbegleitend studierte er dabei den Bachelor-Studiengang Medizinalfachberufe mit Schwerpunkt Lehre und begann seine Lehrtätigkeit zunächst beim BRK-Kreisverband Kronach als Dozent in der Erwachsenenbildung, anschließend als Lehrer an einer BRK-Altenpflegeschule. Es folgte ein Studium in Gesundheits- und Pflegepädagogik mit Abschluss zum Master of Science und dem Wechsel an die BRK-Schulen (Pflege) nach Bayreuth. Hier übernahm er im März 2015 zunächst kommissarisch und ab August 2015 das Amt des Schulleiters. Ein Studium Schulmanagement mit dem akademischen Grad Master of Arts schloss Kolb im November 2015 erfolgreich und wechselte im Frühjahr 2016 als Pädagogischer Mitarbeiter zur Gemeinnützigen Gesellschaft für soziale Dienste (GGSD). Mit der Übernahme der Tätigkeit als Schulleiter der Berufsfachschule für Krankenpflege am Bezirkskrankenhaus Bayreuth betrat mit der Krankpflege neues Terrain. Seit Oktober 2017 und dem Abschluss eines weiteren Masterstudiums zum Master of Health Business Admistration (MHBA) lehrt er an der Berufsfachschule für Altenpflege und Altenpflegehilfe der Diakonie Hochfranken. Daneben ist Horst Kolb an drei Fachhochschulen als Lehrbeauftragter tätig.
