Die vorliegende Arbeit untersucht für die Gruppe der Führungskräfte ab 55, mit welchen Themen sie in das Coaching kommen und welche Unterschiede es dabei zu jüngeren Führungskräften gibt. Im theoretischen Bezugsrahmen werden die Themen Coaching, Führung, Lebensphasen und ältere Arbeitnehmer behandelt. Für den empirischen Teil wurden Experten (langjährige Coachs) interviewt und zusätzlich um eine Einschätzung der Marktentwicklung gebeten. Ältere Führungskräfte möchten durch das Coaching oft Unterstützung, um mithalten zu können. Ebenso schwingt die Sinnfrage bei vielen Themen mit, dafür geht es weniger um alltägliche Führungsthemen, die wiederum jüngere Führungskräfte mehr beschäftigen. Kaum jemand nimmt ein Coaching in Anspruch, um sich auf den nächsten Lebensabschnitt vorzubereiten. Der Coaching-Markt für diese Zielgruppe wird sich in den nächsten Jahren weiter entwickeln. Das bedarf aber auch einer Differenzierung des Angebotes seitens der Coachs, aber auch der Organisationen. Nicht zuletzt geht es um gesellschaftspolitische Themen.

-Ich unterstutze Sie dabei, erfolgreich zu sein.- Ich bin 1957 in Salzburg geboren, Trainer seit 1982, Coach seit 1994 und Mediator seit 2001. Nach langjahriger Tatigkeit als Trainer und Leiter der Personalentwicklung in einem Finanzdienstleistungskonzern bin ich seit 1994 selbstandig. Meine Kund/innen sind verschiedene Organisationen in der Privatwirtschaft, aber auch in der offentlichen Verwaltung sowie im Sozial- und Gesundheitsbereich. 2005 grundete ich die Salzburger Experten-Plattform coaches.at. Meine eigene Aus- und Fortbildung absolvierte ich u. a. in Transaktionsanalyse (Arbeitsfeld Organisation), NLP (Neurolinguistisches Programmieren - Master Practitioner), Systemischer Organisationsberatung, Suggestopadie, Mediation, Bioenergetischer Analyse, Hypnosystemischer Beratung, Gewaltfreier Kommunikation und reteaming(R). Wichtige Begleiter waren fur mich u. a. Waldefried Pechtl, Bernhard Schibalski, Ed und Maryann Reese, Gunthard Weber, Robert Dilts, Gunther Schmidt sowie Insa Sparrer und Matthias Varga von Kibed, auerdem auch meine engsten Freunde und KollegInnen. In erster Linie aber sind es die vielen Menschen, mit denen ich arbeiten darf, sei es in Seminaren, Workshops, Lehrgangen, Grogruppenveranstaltungen, Mediationen oder in Team- und Einzelcoachings - sie sind es, die mir immer wieder wertvolle Impulse geben. Mittlerweile sind es weit uber 10.000 Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer, die ich in unzahligen Veranstaltungen begruen durfte!
