Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2013 im Fachbereich Didaktik für das Fach Deutsch - Deutsch als Fremdsprache, DaF, Note: 1,0, Pädagogische Hochschule Weingarten, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit ist es, die beiden Phänomene code-switching und code-mixing in Hinglish anhand von Beispielen aus Radioaufnahmen, Werbeslogans und einem Liedtext aus einem Bollywood-Film aufzuzeigen. Nach einer Erklärung des Begriffs Hinglish werde ich Arbeitsdefinitionen zu den beiden Phänomenen code-switching und code-mixing anführen. Diese werden jeweils mit Beispielen versehen, um sie zu veranschaulichen. Danach gehe ich auf den Aspekt der Dominanz einer Sprache ein, bevor ich konkrete Beispiele von Radioaufnahmen und den Liedtext aus einem Bollywood-Film hinsichtlich der beiden Phänomene analysiere. Schlie lich fasse ich meine gewonnenen Erkenntnisse zusammen, um die Arbeit abzurunden. Indien ist ein Land der Vielfalt: Zahlreiche Staaten, in denen Menschen mit verschiedenen Lebensgewohnheiten und Traditionen leben, religiöse Pluralität, Kleidung in kunterbunten Farben und Mustern, die je nach Staat variieren. Au erdem sind in Indien durch die geographische Lage alle klimatischen Zonen vorzufinden. Diese, an den wenigen Beispielen aufgezeigte Vielfalt, spiegelt sich auch in der Sprache wider: Indien ist eine vielsprachige Gesellschaft. In meinem Auslandssemester im Norden Indiens, in Rajasthan habe ich mit der Mittlersprache "Englisch" Hindi gelernt. Neben dem Vorhandensein vieler Sprachen nebeneinander habe ich dabei vor allem auch eine Vermischung der Sprachen bemerkt. Dabei wurde mir die Vermischung von Hindi und Englisch besonders bewusst, da ich die Sprachen gelernt habe. Aus diesem Grund möchte ich in meiner Arbeit das Phänomen, das die Autoren Kothari et al. "Hinglish" nennen, näher betrachten. Dabei werde ich mich der Methode des Sprachvergleichs bedienen. Mein Hauptaugenmerk liegt also auf der sprachwissenschaftlichen Komponente.
