A longtime professional painter, Nicole's intuitive gifts came into full view as she lost her mother first to dementia, then to the divine itself. The first soul painting, using three shades of soft white mixed with four shades of cool blue, hung on Doris Carol Harp's wall in a nursing home to provide her an emotional and visual calm focus point as Doris moved between worlds.


As much an ode to her mother as it is to every being's miraculous soul or consciousness, each spread in this book is laid out with the human or animal communication in words and paired with an intuitive painting, radiating its unique colors. They are what Spirit wants each soul to know about themselves for healing and love.


Harp guides the reader through the viewing, effects, and interpretation of one's soul painting using meditative, compassionate, and heart-opening practices drawn from different traditions such as Jungian psychology, psychotherapy, and Eastern philosophy.

Harp, Nicole C.: - Nicole is a lifelong artist and designer with a graphic design degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. She has spent most of her career as an abstract painter and educator, balancing the functions of text and image in her artwork. Her experience ranges from solo shows to large environmental installations, most revolving around earth, nature, and animals. Presently, Nicole's work has evolved into a multifaceted career as an animal communicator and painter of souls. Her dual calling allows her to reach and help heal clients all over the world.
