God's Family Circle was started April 1, 1984. It was for the purpose of encouraging souls to be ready for eternity. We are not affiliated with any denomination (nor practice church joining) but advocate the church that is written about in the New Testament scriptures. Acts 2:47: "And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved."

These devotionals have been written at various times and intervals. They were written for the purpose of honoring and glorifying God, and to bring hope and encouragement to all who come in contact with them.

Through these messages, I pray needy souls will be reached and will turn to the Lord and accept Him into their lives as Savior and Lord. May the Holy Spirit intervene in the lives of those who read these pages.

We endeavor to lift Christ up as the author and finisher of our faith, the only Savior to redeem mankind from their lost estate. Jesus Himself said, "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me," (John 12:32).

"Come Unto Me," is the suggested theme of this book. We endeavor to point people to the Lamb of God who shed His blood to save us from our sins. He is alive, sitting at the right hand of God, interceding for His people.

During our meetings every week, we sang the hymns that were inspired many years ago; prayed for the spiritual and physical needs of the people at the Manor; and studied a portion of scripture. It is during those times that I, Lucille, shared my inspirational thoughts with my friends. I have been told that they have truly been a blessing and encouragement to the souls of the Manor. I trust they will be to you, too. May the Lord have His way in our hearts and lives.
