Einerseits handelt es sich dabei urn tatsachlich anfallende Kosten, andererseits urn ein unbe- stimmtes Gefiihl der Manager, die Informatik sei zu teuer. Vor allem zwei Griinde sind bier a. nzufiihren: IKS werden ohne abgestimm organisationsweite Systemplanung eingesetzt. Das Fehlen einer Unternehmensstrategie und einer daraus abgeleiteten In- formatikstrategie fUhrt zu LOsungen, die sich nicht mit dem Hinweis auf Un- ternebmensziele rechtfertigen lassen. Dorch immer komplexer werdende Informations-und Kommunikations- technologie (IKT) steigt neben dem Sachaufwand vor aHem auch der Per- sonalaufwand bei der Einfiihrung und Erhaltung von IKS. 1. 2. Vorgehensrahmen Die Problemstellung beriihrt Inhalte der Betriebswirtschaftslehre und der Informa- tik. Die Schnittmenge dieser Wissensgebiete bild. et die Wirtschaftsinformatik. Sowohl die Wirtschaftswissenschaften als auch die Informatik sind angewandte Wissenschaften, dasselbe gilt daher auch fUr die Wirtschaftsinformatik. Ange- wandte Wissenschaften unterscheiden sich von den Grundlagenwissenschaften nach Popper wie folgt: "Die Erkenntnis. beginnt nicht mit Wahrnebmungen oder Beobachtungen od. er der Sammlung von Daten oder von Tatsachen, sond. ern sie beginnt mit Problemen". 1 Der angewandte Wissenschafter strebt nach praktisch niitzlichem Wissen im Gegensatz zur Erkenntnisgewinnung.
