Daher ist es entscheidend, dass Kindern entsprechende Kompetenzen so fr h wie m glich vermittelt werden. So ist es m glich, ihnen einen festen Grundstock an Wissen f r ihre momentane und weitere aktiv-kreative, gezielte, selbstbestimmte aber auch reflexive Nutzung von Medien zu vermitteln. Daher ist es als sinnvoll sich in dieser Beziehung nicht auf die Handhabung und Nutzung von Medien im elterlichen Haushalt zu verlassen, sondern dieses Thema in der f r Kinder ersten institutionellen Einrichtung, durch eine entsprechende Ausstattung der Einrichtung sowie medienp dagogisch geschultem Personal, gezielt aufzugreifen. Es kann sicherlich nicht als selbstverst ndlich angesehen werden, dass selbst wenn Medien in der Familie vorhanden sind und regelm ig genutzt werden, dies auch zum Nutzen und Vorteil des Kindes geschieht. Wenn also entsprechend der kindlichen Bed rfnisse Medienkompetenz inhaltlich und auch didaktisch bereits in Kindertagesst tten vermittelt wird, kann davon ausgegangen werden, dass die Kinder aber auch die Eltern davon profitieren. Zum einen k nnen die Kinder mit allen relevanten Medien in Kontakt gebracht werden, besonders wenn diese nicht im elterlichen Haushalt zur Verf gung stehen. Zum anderen k nnen die Kinder ihre ersten Erfahrungen mit Medien unter der Aufsicht von idealerweise p dagogisch geschultem Personal sammeln und so an die selbstst ndige Bedienung und Nutzung von Medien zur Verfolgung eigener Interessen bewusst herangef hrt werden.
