How can we come to a deeper understanding of what Christ did for us through the cross? Can the power of the resurrection affect our own lives? As we reflect on the Sunday Mass readings during Lent using With Jesus to the Cross, we discover that the paschal mystery is the doorway through which we truly become a new creation in Christ. Jesus won our freedom, and now we can shake off the chains that bind us and live our lives in a whole new way!


Created by the staff of The Evangelical Catholic, this seven-session guide begins with the First Sunday of Lent and ends with Easter. Each session includes opening and closing prayers, the Scripture passages to be discussed, questions for discussion, and suggestions for personal reflection through the week. A detailed "how-to" guide for facilitators and participants allows a small group to make the most of their time together. With Jesus to the Cross can also be used by individuals to enrich their Lenten experience.
