Après des rappels sur le raisonnement, les structures de données et la complexité, le livre parcourt les grandes méthodes de construction d'algorithmes: invariants, récursivité, essais successifs, méthodes PSEP, algorithmes gloutons, diviser pour régner, programmation dynamique.
