Hanno partecipato tutti gli studenti di infermieristica, compresi gli studenti di MSc e BSc. Le risposte dei partecipanti sono state valutate, le risposte corrette hanno ricevuto punti e i punteggi sono stati classificati come adeguati o inadeguati in base a una soglia stabilita. I risultati hanno indicato che la maggior parte degli studenti ha dimostrato di possedere conoscenze adeguate in questi ambiti, con alcune lacune osservate, in particolare tra gli studenti della laurea triennale per quanto riguarda le condizioni orali e gli studenti della laurea magistrale per quanto riguarda i prodotti necessari per l'igiene orale. Lo studio ha concluso che, sebbene gli studenti di infermieristica avessero in generale una conoscenza adeguata della salute orale in et� geriatrica, esistevano ancora lacune significative in aree specifiche, sebbene il livello di istruzione non influisse significativamente sulla conoscenza complessiva.
