Bradley Cardinale is a Professor in the Department of Ecosystem Science and Management at Pennsylvania State University. He is recognized for his outstanding contributions to the field, having been honored as a Fellow of both the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and the Ecological Society of America (ESA). Additionally, he has been named one of ScholarGPS' top 10 Highly Ranked Scholars in Biodiversity Research and is acknowledged by Clarivate Analytics as a Highly Cited Researcher, placing him among the top 1% for the most cited papers in the field of Environment/Ecology.

James Murdoch is a Professor of Wildlife Biology at the University of Vermont, where he has made significant contributions to the field of wildlife conservation and education. He is a recipient of the prestigious Kroepsch-Maurice Excellence in Teaching Award, which recognizes his commitment to exceptional teaching. In addition to his academic achievements, he serves as the Chair of the Board of Trustees for The Nature Conservancy in Vermont and is a member of the IUCN/SSC Canid Specialist Group, where he collaborates with other experts to promote conservation efforts for canid species.
