Duke, Wendy Christine: - Wendy Christine Duke has been a professional artist for nearly six decades. She is formally trained as an interior designer. Wendy had been commissioned for more than fifty artworks for hotels, banks, restaurants, corporate offices and residential settings, mainly nin the mid-Atlantic area. The majority of these works were in Contemporarry Oshi-e. Wendy has won numerous awards for her artwork in local, regional, national and international juried competitions.She has resided in Maryland, New York, Northern Japan, Hawaii and Virginia. Her business, Cloud Haven Studio, is with her wherever she lives. Her website, cloudhavenstudio.com, has examples of her work and much more.Wendy has taught classes for many decades. She has refined her approach to Contemporary Oshi-e into a complete program of levels and skills. Some of the courses are available on her website. She teaches in person as well.
