Joseph J. Corey, Jr. is a Contracts Management Consultant specializing in large, complex nuclear and other power plant engineering and construction contracts. He has extensive experience in all phases of contract and claims management for major engineering and construction projects. Joe managed projects and contracts for engineering, construction, components, start-up, and operation of the Harris Nuclear Plant. He planned, developed, negotiated, drafted, and managed contracts for nuclear plant refueling outage services and major engineering and construction projects including steam generator replacements, power up-rates, turbine modifications and upgrades, spent fuel dry storage facilities, and other major modifications. Joe's Ten Stage Contracting Process is the basis for this book and his Excellence in Contract Management and Contracting Process publications and training classes. The Ten Stages of the Contracting Process provides Contract and Project Managers and other project personnel with the skills to more efficiently and effectively plan, manage, control, administer, and evaluate contracts and monitor and control contractors.
