Whoever you are, wherever you are, whenever you are, there is likely a seductive story of extremes being sold to you every other day. Something to be outraged about, something to reject, something to fear, something to win at all costs.
This book is about a path that you can and to health, wealth, happiness, fulfillment, and love that lies in the spaces between all those extremes. A path where the light and the shade come together to create the interplay that is intrinsic and fundamental to the landscape of a fulfilled life - one that is free of regret and fear. The secrets behind the schemes, the paths to end suffering, the way to feel as though you are more than just a flag at the mercy of the ways that the wind blows.
Then again, I know that you are busy, and I genuinely appreciate you spending your time reading this far. I know you have somewhere else to be. You need to get back to hoisting yourself high upon the pillars of society, ready to be on show at a time that is not of your choosing, ready to collapse in a heap of yourself when those fickle winds change direction. It sounds exhausting just thinking about it.
It is no wonder that there are so many of us languishing at half-mast, present but suspended in what you might call a 'part-life', somewhere between turning up and turning off. Just know that this book is here when you are ready for something more. A warning, though: the 'something' that I offer is confronting and irreverent. Consequently, you may find it triggering, provocative, or offensive.
If you choose to proceed, I will demonstrate that I understand where you may be coming from. However, I will in turn ask that you come to terms with what it is that I bring to you. It can be the warmest of embraces or the most violent of collisions. That part - the magnitude of the contrast - is entirely up to you.
