Herman Tang, PhD, is a full professor in the School of Engineering at Eastern Michigan University with more than 16 years of prior industry experience at Chrysler (now Stellantis N.V.) in vehicle manufacturing system development, product launches, and production throughput improvement. He has authored five books on manufacturing, quality, and engineering. In 2022, he received the Ronald W. Collins Distinguished Faculty Award, Eastern Michigan University's highest faculty honor.
