Weitzel, Jeffrey: - Jeffrey Weitzel is a reformed idol maker (sculptor), who was well on his way to a successful career, having bronzes in private and public collections all over the country and internationally, including commissions for cities, zoos, universities, banks, and even a private aquarium in Saudi Arabia. But he gave it all up in order to be the sculpture instead of the sculptor. The pot instead of the potter, as the Bible puts it. He lives in Oregon with his wife, Sanae, who makes sure they have plenty time in nature, and his son, Hinoki, who makes sure that music is a part of everything.
