About The Book

This elective book series is designed to be a complete curriculum addition to what you are using. We are using them alongside our curriculum, Deep Inside the Forest. Deep Inside the Forest is a Bible-based unit study. It can be used with ages Pre -K - Adult. It covers all subjects: Bible, History, Composer/Artist, Science, Language Arts, and Math (only in how it applies to God). You will still need a complete math curriculum, Spelling, and Reading. All subjects surround the area of the Bible we are studying.
The Elective Series are as follows. Each title, for example, Parakeets, will have a homeschool journal geared to one of 3 levels. That way, if you all want to study Parakeets, all children can work on it at a level geared to their level. They will be as follows. Little Learners Series (K - 2nd), Creative Learners Series (3rd - 7th), Wisdom Learners Series (8th - Adult). This will be a continuing series, and I have a list of 30 titles I will be working on-something to pique each child's interest.
These studies include links that have all been previewed for appropriate content. You must add books (the library is excellent), documentaries, and movies.
These Electives cover the following subjects: Bible, Language Arts, Handwriting, Creative Writing, Spelling History, Science, Art, Drawing, Crafts, Mazes, Word Finds, and Crossword Puzzles. In addition, some will include Geography, Country Studies, Cooking, and More.
All elective books will be priced between 9.99 - 19.95, depending on the journal size. Our primary curriculum for each guide will be 32.50; you will need 3 of those to complete a year. I did design journals to record work in a Charlotte Mason/Waldorf style, but you can use any blank sketchbook if you need to. My goal was to create books that stand on the Word of God and are affordable to homeschool your family. I wanted to keep it under 500.00 a year for a family, and I have done that without losing content. It is not as flashy as others, but the content is way better, in my opinion, and I will never step away from the Word of God.
