Maria Helena da Cruz Coelho é Professora Catedrática da Universidade de Coimbra e Investigadora do Centro de História da Sociedade e da Cultura. Pertence a diversas Academias e Comissões nacionais e internacionais e é Presidente da Sociedade Portuguesa de Estudos Medievais. A sua investigação, divulgada em cerca de trezentas publicações, algumas traduzidas em russo, espanhol, francês, italiano, inglês e alemão, incide sobre as mais diversas temáticas do período medieval, com destaque para a historiografia, história política, social, religiosa, institucional, económico-social, poder local, biografia, mundo rural, alimentação, quotidiano. Recebeu oito prémios da APH e o Prémio Ciência da FCG (1990). Foi agraciada com o Grau de Grande Oficial da Ordem do Infante D. Henrique (2011). António Manuel Ribeiro Rebelo é Professor Associado da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Coimbra. É membro do Centro de Estudos Clássicos e Humanísticos, na Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Coimbra. Participou em vários colóquios, congressos, grupos de trabalho, em Portugal e no estrangeiro, tendo integrado as comissões organizadoras de muitos deles. Publicou mais de uma centena de títulos, entre obras, artigos, traduções científicas, no âmbito das literaturas clássicas, da filologia latina medieval, do latim renascentista, da literatura portuguesa, da ecdótica e da didáctica, além de várias notícias e recensões. Participou em vários projectos científicos, tendo coordenado alguns deles. É membro de várias sociedades académicas e científicas, nacionais e internacionais.
