The book focuses on the human and social effects of the construction of hydroelectric dams in Brazil. Dr. Guillaume Leturcq is researcher at University of Campinas, Brazil and associate Researcher in ESO Le Mans (Laboratory Espaces et Sociétés). He specializes in social and regional geography, migrations, water issues and geopolitics.
