Dansează, nu te opri! este o carte captivantă de la primele ei pagini, asta pentru că Sorin Diaconescu este tipul de autor care prin firea lui nu poate să se piardă în dulcegăriile unui roman de doi bani.
Neindiferent la ce se întâmplă în societatea românească actuală, autorul a scos la lumina tiparului un roman în care detaliază cu o măiestrie absolută o poveste de dragoste dintre un bărbat şi o femeie, ambii refuzând canoanele rutinei şi minciunii în care lumea românească pare a fi scufundată. E povestea a doi oameni care s-au cunoscut prin intermediul lumii virtuale, dar ale căror suflete se întâlniseră pe o punte nevăzută încă de la prima comunicare. [...] Pentru acest bărbat şi pentru această femeie, dragostea poate fi completă doar în trei, aşa cum o să descoperiţi pe parcursul lecturii, patria neputând lipsi vreo clipă din preocupările celor doi.
Stilul acestei scriituri este unul direct şi fără fard, autorul adresându-se cititorului cu o sinceritate debordantă.
Ca cititor onest nu pot să nu constat alături de scriitor că politica guvernanţilor noştri este de mulţi ani îndreptată nu spre binele ţării, ci spre interesele proprii. Lăcomia clasei politice, nesăbuinţa ei la care se adaugă trădarea oamenilor care au investit-o cu încredere şi speranţă, duc în mod cert la pierderea demnităţii şi identităţii noastre ca popor, „la ieşirea românilor din propria lor istorie." Cu toate acestea, SD crede în români, în puterea lor de regenerare, în forţa lor de a se recompune pentru a fi prezenţi la întâlnirea cu destinul unei naţiuni născută să fie puternică şi imposibil de supus. Nu în ultimul rând, cartea susţine respectul veritabil pentru uniforma militară, văzută că simbol fundamental în orice societate care tânjeşte după normalitate şi armonie.
