Wissenschaftlicher Aufsatz aus dem Jahr 2004 im Fachbereich Soziologie - Familie, Frauen, M�nner, Sexualit�t, Geschlechter, Note: 1,0, Technische Universit�t Dortmund, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Nicht nur Familien allgemein haben eine starke Aufwertung erfahren, sondern vor allem auch Familien behinderter Kinder. Dies macht sich seit den siebziger Jahren in einer Abkehr von der Heimerziehung bemerkbar. In einer mehrdimensionalen Sicht wird vor allem die Verbindung und Einheitlichkeit verschiedener Lebensbereiche gesehen, so dass therapeutische Ma nahmen nur als effektiv gelten, wenn das soziale Umfeld miteinbezogen wird und Familien dadurch eine zentrale Rolle bei der Bew�ltigung von Behinderungsproblemen erhalten haben. Durch diese Aufwertung werden an die Familien hohe Anforderungen gestellt. Diese beziehen sich nicht nur auf einen hohen zeitlichen und finanziellen Bedarf, sondern z.T. auch auf den Einsatz der Eltern als Kotherapeuten und damit auf eine Professionalisierung ihrer Rolle. Viele Forscher sehen Familien hier vor gro e Anpassungsprobleme gestellt und betonen vor allem die Instabilit�t moderner Kleinfamilien. Ein behindertes Kind k�nne dabei zu Krisen bis hin zu Aufl�sungserscheinungen f�hren. Neben einer solchen Desorganisation wird zudem die Gefahr der Desintegration und somit m�gliche Schwierigkeiten im au erfamili�ren Verh�ltnis gesehen. In der vorliegenden Arbeit soll nun festgestellt werden, welche Schwierigkeiten und welche positiven Aspekte diese Ver�nderungen mit sich bringen. Dabei sollen zun�chst allgemeine Aspekte bez�glich historischem Wandel und Kennzeichen von Familien beschrieben werden. Daraufhin gehe ich auf Rollenanforderungen an Eltern und Kinder ein und beziehe mich dabei sowohl auf die Anspr�che der Gesellschaft, als auch auf die Erwartungen der Eltern und beschreibe daraufhin, inwiefern Familien mit einem behinderten Kind diese erf�llen k�nnen. Zum Schluss sollen Vorschl�ge gemacht werden, wie m�gliche Probleme gemindert werden k
