Die Autorin: Andrea C. Schalley, geboren 1972 in Krefeld, Studium der Mathematik und Germanistik an der RWTH Aachen. Gasthörerin der Archäologie und Kulturwissenschaften an der Humboldt-Universität Berlin, Mitglied des Instituts für Alte Geschichte und Altertumskunde der Universität Graz. Derzeit Arbeit an einer Dissertation in der Theoretischen Linguistik im Rahmen des Graduiertenkollegs «Sprache, Information, Logik» an der Universität München.
