Es sind verschiedene norm- und nichtnormliefemde MeBdaten er- arbeitet worden. Aber: Natura non saltat! Insbesondere W. Scheid hat offen- kundig gemacht, wie sehr wir dennoch im Ungewissen bleiben, im Grunde auf wissenschaftlichem FlieBsand stehen. Da war es - so meine ich - ein gliicklicher Gedanke, die Problematik noch ein- mal an einem groBen, repriisentativen klinischen Krankengut und mit neuer, mathematisch genau messender Methodik anzugehen. Dabei hat H. Lauber nun nicht etwa neue, nunmehr endgiiltig gesicherte Grenzen festzulegen sich be- miiht, sondem - im Gegenteil- unterstellt, daB wir eben solche scharfen Gren- zen nicht kennen. Statt des sen hat er eine Toleranzzone ermittelt, innerhalb deren Bereich - unter Beriicksichtigung von Schiidelform und Lebensalter natiir- lich - nichts Gesichertes oder auch nur Wahrscheinliches ausgesagt werden kann, jenseits dessen wir aber nun eindeutige Urteile abgeben konnen.
