Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2004 im Fachbereich Theologie - Vergleichende Religionswissenschaft, Note: 1,3, Universit�t Erfurt, Veranstaltung: und Interpretation von Texten aus dem Buddhismus, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Der Buddhismus, als eine der drei Weltreligionen, ist ein umfassendes Konzept, welches sich �berwiegend mit den Menschen, seinem Leben und seinem Leid besch�ftigt. Er zeigt einen Ausweg aus dem Kreislauf der Wiedergeburten und somit aus dem Leid der Menschen, hin zur Erleuchtung und der Erl�sung im Nirvana. So soll man versuchen in jedem Leben, was man durchlaufen muss, die moralischen Normen so gut es geht einzuhalten, um darauf in ein besseres Leben wiedergeboren zu werden. Mit jeder Stufe aufw�rts, kann man die buddhistische Moral ein St�ck besser verfolgen, denn ein besseres Leben hei auch gr� ere Unabh�ngigkeit. Dieses gut durchdachte Konzept, mit tiefen philosophischen Weltanschauungen, hat den Nachteil, nicht besonders "alltagstauglich" zu sein, da es immer auf die Zukunft ausgerichtet ist, keine L�sung aber f�r die allt�glichen Sorgen und �ngste bietet. Auch war nach dem Tod Sakyamunis kein Lehrmeister mehr da, so dass sich die Entwicklung dahingehend �nderte, dass Sakyamuni nicht das blieb, was er war: "Der Lehrmeister der Menschen" (und G�tter), sondern er wurde selbst zum Gott. Mit der Entwicklung des Mahayana-Buddhismus, wurde schlie lich eine Entwicklung eingeleitet, die es dem einfachen Volk erlaubte weitere Buddhas zu kreieren, zu denen dann auch Amitabha, der Buddha des westlichen reinen Landes geh�rte, welcher eine besondere Position einnehmen sollte, da er einen der einfachsten Wege zur Erleuchtung zu bieten hatte. Auf den n�chsten Seiten m�chte ich auf diese Entwicklungen innerhalb des Buddhismus eingehen, wobei ich auch versuchen werde, die Herkunft des Buddha Amitabha zu kl�ren und die Umst�nde die zu seiner Entwicklung f�hrten, wobei ich seine Verbreitung nach China und Japan leider nur am Rande streifen kann, da dieses Thema
