Aufgabe der Fachabteilung ist die Definition der fachlichen Ablauffunktionen. Die Daten- und Funktionsadministration hat hier beratende Aufgabe, indem sie die bereits vorhandenen Basisfunktionen verwaltet, bzw. neue Basisfunktionen strukturiert und einordnet. Diese Aufgabenteilung ist Grundlage flir eine wirkliche Wiederverwendung bereits beschrie- bener fachlicher Funktionen und den zugehorigen Methoden innerhalb der Klassenhier- archie. Die Daten- und Funktionsadministration hat durch das neue Vorgehensmodell auch im DV-Konzept an Bedeutung gewonnen. Die Einordnung neuer Methoden in die beste- hende Klassenhierarchie ist hauptsachlich ihre Aufgabe. Durch die weitgehende struktu- relle Ubereinstimmung des Unternehmensdatenmodells und der Klassenhierarchie ist die Doppelfunktion von Daten-und Funktionsadministration von groBem Vorteil. Ein weiterer wesentlicher Aspekt bei der Entwicklung des heutigen Vorgehensmodells war die unternehmensweite Sicht. Eine erhebliche Produktiviilitssteigerung ergibt sich durch die Realisierung sparteniibergreifender Basisfunktionen. Die Nutzung in den Sachgebieten erfordert jedoch u. U. spartenspezifische Anpassungen. Die Konzepte der objektorientierten Programmierung, insbesondere die Spezialisierung/Generalisierung, bieten hier eine ideale Moglichkeit der Realisierung, die mit herkommlichen Sprachen nicht moglich ist. Eine Einschrankung flir die Nutzung der Klassenhierarchie ist z.Zt. noch das Fehlen einer objektorientierten Sprache wie z.B. Smalltalk auf dem Host, da viele Komponenten nur zentral sinnvoll realisierbar sind.
