Flight attendant Lori Fyfer stumbled onto a smuggling operation in her airline eight years ago in Istanbul, and nearly lost her life. She spent years flying domestically until she qualified to bid her old overseas run as a pilot, and get it. She'd almost forgotten her experience with the violent smuggler until she met him again in the huge 777 she flew across the North Atlantic. The man she knew only as 'the Turkish monster' tried to kill her again when he recognized her, boasting that he was going to bring down her airliner on the return trip. Lori had to discover why if she was going to protect her passengers, and end his violent criminal career.

John Sandel lives in North Texas with his wife Lorrie and West Highland Terrier Fergie. He graduated from the University of Texas in Austin, and spent the next summer as a seasonal Park Ranger in Yellowstone National Park before earning a commission as a Lieutenant in the United States Air Force stationed for the next three years in Oregon and Greenland. By that time he knew he wanted to write, and he resigned his commission and began creating news releases, newsletters, brochures and TV ads for an ad agency, a public relations firm and many other clients. "Deadly Contraband" is his first novel.
