Este libro traza el camino de un sueño. El sueño empieza en la juventud del autor, expresado en los poemarios "Añoranzas" y "Ausencias".

Pero el hallazgo no será para unos pocos, es para todos los que albergan la nobleza en sus conductas y no se rige por la codicia, pues sólo obedece a los designios de la paz entre los pueblos. Quién pudiera ser parte de este sueño!

Bettio, Renato: - El Dr. Roberto Arévalo Araujo MD, FACP (Renato Bettio), nació en El Salvador. Al terminar su bachillerato fue a México a continuar sus estudios y se graduó como Médico y Cirujano de la Facultad de Medicina de la UNAM, en el Distrito Federal, en 1970. Luego hizo tres años de Medicina Interna en el Oakwood Hospital (Dearborn, MI) y en el Colegio de Medicina y Dentistería de New Jersey (CMDNJ). Prosiguió, por tres años más, sus estudios en la Subespecialidad de Hematología y Oncología Médica, en el mismo CMDNJ. Está certificado (Board Certified) en Medicina Interna, al igual que en Hematología y en Oncología Médica. Es Fellow del Colegio Americano de Médicos (FACP). Es fundador del Centro de Cáncer y Hematología del Condado de Pasco y Pinellas, en Florida, USA, centro que incluye radioterapia y quimo-inmunoterapia. Es Fundador de la Medical Mission of Mercy/Medical Mission International, que tiene el objetivo de llevar, gratuitamente, ayuda quirúrgica, oftalmológica y médica a los pacientes indigentes del este de El Salvador, labor que fue reconocida por el Congreso de El Salvador y fue nominada, en el año 2002, para el Premio Nobel de la Paz en favor de la Misión Médica (Mission of Mercy).Ahora ofrece para ti, lector querido, un poco de la inspiración que abriga en su alma, narrando historias sobre la impunidad y miseria que afectan a, y transcurren en, las vidas de compatriotas centroamericanos.
