Delirium kann von Pflegekr�ften in der Intensivpflege �bersehen, falsch diagnostiziert und in seiner Bedeutung untersch�tzt werden. Das Wissen und die Praxis von Pflegekr�ften �ber das tats�chliche Ausma des Deliriums und die damit verbundenen Belastungen bei kritisch kranken Patienten w�rden es Klinikern, Forschern und politischen Entscheidungstr�gern erm�glichen, dringend ben�tigte Ressourcen f�r die Verringerung der mit Delirium verbundenen Morbidit�t und Mortalit�t bereitzustellen.
