Anhand des Protagonisten Sebastian ist das Buch als Kombination zwischen Roman und Fachbuch schnell und einfach verständlich lesbar!

Dr. med. Stefan Schraml, geb. 1991, hat sich nach Absolvierung des Gymnasiums und damit Erlangung der allgemeinen Hochschulreife dem Studium der Molekularen Biowissenschaften in Salzburg gewidmet. Beeinflusst von seiner bisherigen ehrenamtlichen Tätigkeit im Rettungsdienst, war sein Wechsel auf das Studienfach Humanmedizin jedoch unabdinglich. Im Rahmen seines Studiums konnte er viele Einblicke in die Welt der Medizin erlangen. Er lernte sehr genau die Seite des ärztlichen Handelns als auch die der Patienten kennen. Während seiner Tätigkeit in mehreren Kliniken konnte er offensichtliche Unterschiede in der Versorgung von Patienten wahrnehmen und es kristallisierte sich für ihn schnell heraus, welche Prioritäten die jeweiligen Parteien ergriffen. Nach Abschluss seines Studiums in Regelstudienzeit widmete er sich während seiner Ausbildung zum Facharzt für Innere Medizin weiterhin den Verhaltensweisen der Patienten-Arzt-Interaktion und konnte durch scharfes Beobachten viele Details erkennen, welche unterbewusst ablaufen und sich teils nur in Mimik und Gestik äußern. Nichts desto trotz prägten diese Eindrücke seine Umgangsform mit seinen Patienten und halfen ihm, eine professionellere Betreuung zu ermöglichen.
