About The Book

Aus den klinischen Vorbefunden ergibt sich eine Reihe von Fragen, die sich zu drei Berei chen zusammenfassen lassen. Der erste Fragenbereich betrifft die Widerspriichlichkeit der bisherigen Befunde zur Dauerbeurteilung Depressiver. Auffallige Ergebnisse - vor allem in Form von Uberschatzungen der Dauer - wurden nur in einem Teil der Studien festgestellt. Unklar ist, inwieweit sich dies auf quantitative oder qualitative Merkmale der Depression bzw. auf Medikationseinfliisse zuriickfiihren laBt. Zur Abklarung dieser Fragen erscheint vor allem ein verbessertes methodisches Vorgehen notwendig, d. h. die Erhebung entsprechender Variablen und Untersuchungsplane, die diesbeziigliche inter- bzw. intraindividuelle Verglei che zulassen. Der zweite Fragenbereich betrifft den EinfluB situativer Anforderungen. Die bisherigen Ergebnisse lassen offen, ob Auffalligkeiten der Dauerbeurteilung Depressiver all gemein oder situationsspezifisch auftreten, d. h. in Abhangigkeit von den Anforderungen, die sich aus Dauer, Inhalt bzw. Beurteilungsmodus eines Intervalls ergeben. Die Untersuchung dieses Fragenbereichs erfordert die vergleichende Erhebung von Dauerbeurteilungen fiir Intervalle mit unterschiedlichen Anforderungsbedingungen. Der dritte Fragenbereich betrifft die mangelnde Ubereinstimmung zwischen Aussagen Depressiver zur erlebten Geschwindig keit des Zeitablaufs und ihren Dauerbeurteilungen vorgegebener Intervalle. Moglicherweise laBt sich dies darauf zuriickfiihren, daB Dauerbeurteilungen Depressiver bisher ohne hin reichende Beriicksichtigung situativer Einfliisse erhoben wurden. Hinweise hierzu ergeben sich somit aus der Untersuchung des zweiten Fragenbereichs. Andererseits wurde vermutet, daB beide MaBe unterschiedlich sensibel sind fUr Antworttendenzen, die mit depressivem Affekt einhergehen (Bech, 1975; Hawkins et aI., 1988). Dieser Vermutung laBt sich durch die Erhebung beider MaBe fiir dieselben Intervalle nachgehen."
