Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2014 im Fachbereich Medien / Kommunikation - Fachkommunikation, Sprache, Note: 1,3, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Veranstaltung: Sprachtherapie, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Nach Giles und Powesland leitet sich der Begriff "Persönlichkeit" vom Lateinischen "personare" ab, was soviel bedeutet wie "durchklingen" beziehungsweise "durchtönen". Die Tatsache, dass der etymologische Ursprung der Persönlichkeit mit der Stimme des Sprechers assoziiert ist, lässt somit auf die weitreichenden Einflüsse paraverbaler Merkmale schlie en. Ausgehend von diesem Grundgedanken verfolgt die angestrebte Arbeit die Frage, inwiefern die stimmlichen Parameter Stimmlage und Sprechtempo die subjektive Bewertung von Führungskompetenz beeinflussen. Dazu wurde ein Online-Fragebogen entwickelt, in dem die Teilnehmer Aussagen zu einem zuvor gehörten Sprechbeispiel bewerten sollten. Es lagen vier Versionen des Sprechbeispiels vor, welche sich jeweils nur hinsichtlich Stimmlage und Sprechtempo beziehungsweise dem Geschlecht des Sprechers unterschieden. In der Untersuchung wurde die Führungskompetenz durch die Kategorien Fach-, Sozial-, Methoden- und Persönlichkeitskompetenz operationalisiert, welche im Fragebogen wiederum in verschiedene Kompetenzen unterteilt waren. Die Untersuchung kam zu dem Ergebnis, dass ein signifikanter Zusammenhang zwischen den stimmlichen Parametern und der zugeschriebenen Führungskompetenz für alle vier Kompetenzkategorien besteht. Ebenso lie en sich Unterschiede hinsichtlich des Geschlechts des Sprechers und der Hörer erkennen. Die gewonnen Ergebnisse haben somit eine hohe Relevanz, sowohl für Stimm- und Sprechtherapeuten als auch für Personalentwickler und Führungskräfte in Unternehmen. Das wirtschaftliche Interesse an einer ausdrucksstarken Stimme gewinnt somit innerhalb des stimmtherapeutischen Handlungsfeldes zunehmend an Bedeutung.
