Weiterführend wird untersucht, ob und inwiefern eine Vitamin-D-Supplementierung sich auf metabolische Parameter, welche eine GDM beeinflussen können, auswirken. Entsprechend lassen sich folgende Fragen ableiten, welche mittels einer vergleichenden Literaturanalyse beantwortet werden sollen: Besteht ein Zusammenhang zwischen Vitamin D und dem Risiko, einen GDM zu entwickeln? Zur Beantwortung der Frage wird bei schwangeren Frauen der 25(OH)D-Status im Blut gemessen und mit einem oGTT bestimmt, ob ein GDM vorliegt. Die 25(OH)D-Werte werden miteinander verglichen und im Hinblick auf das Outcome GDM analysiert. Kann die GDM-Inzidenz durch eine Vitamin-D-Supplementierung verringert werden? Diese Frage wird anhand verschiedener Vitamin-D-Dosen, die den Frauen während der Schwangerschaft verabreicht werden, betrachtet und in Anbetracht der GDM-Inzidenz verglichen. Hat eine Vitamin-D-Supplementierung während der Schwangerschaft einen Einfluss auf metabolische Parameter, welche das GDM-Risiko betreffen? Hierbei soll verglichen werden, inwiefern metabolische Parameter, welche bei GDM eine Rolle spielen, auf eine Vitamin-D-Supplementierung reagieren. Folgende Parameter werden untersucht: Nüchternblutzucker, Insulinresistenz, Gesamtinsulin, Cholesterin (darunter auch HDL-Cholesterin) und Triglyceride. Dafür werden Frauen, welche bereits an einem GDM erkrankt waren, mit einer Kontrollgruppe hinsichtlich ihrer Stoffwechselparameter verglichen.
