Doch mit Kreativität und Innovationskraft hat man es geschafft, das Programm zu etablieren. Das Erfolgsrezept des Senders beruht auf seinem einzigartigen Auftrag: Im historischen Prozess der europäischen Einigung will ARTE mit einer kreativen Fernsehkultur zur Bildung einer europäischen Identität beitragen. In meiner Hausarbeit möchte ich ARTE vorstellen, indem ich zuerst die Geschichte des Senders skizziere, bevor ich anschlie end auf die einzelnen Programmredaktionen und die Sprachbearbeitung eingehe. Danach gebe ich einen Überblick über die Organisationsstruktur, die Finanzierung und das Budget. Im letzten Teil meiner Arbeit soll es um die Ausstrahlung und den Empfang in Deutschland, Frankreich und Europa gehen, weiterhin um das ARTE-Image und zuletzt um Preise und Auszeichnungen.
